Prenatal Yoga Series
This class prepares the mother for labor and birth physically, mentally and emotionally, creating flexibility, focus and strength. Yogic breathing and meditation create a sense of calm by smoothing out the emotional shifting, lend support through pregnancy and labor, and encourage awareness for conscious pregnancy, birth and parenting. Please see our series UNDER WORKSHOPS.
Restorative Yoga
Step into the surroundings of a uniquely illuminated candlelit studio with soothing tunes to guide you away from the stresses and tensions of the day. Restorative Yoga is the yoga of not doing but "Being." Consisting of reclining and supported postures, restorative yoga helps passively release muscle tension and reduce the effects of physical, mental, and emotional stress on the body. Students cultivate deep states of relaxation, inner awareness, and peace. Through posture, breath and unique relaxing techniques you'll end your practice with the yoking of mind and body, preparing you for a state of deep relaxation. Always being guided by your comfort, modifications are introduced for challenging poses so that all students can work comfortably at their own level. Class ends with 10 full minutes of relaxation.
Vinyasa Yoga
In this practice, students flow from one posture to another, synchronizing breath and movement. Often the class begins with sun salutations, standing poses, and balancing postures, then moves to seated forward-folds, twists, backbends and inversions. This class is aimed to bring your current practice to a whole other level or introduce you to the blessing that yoga is.
