Colleen Conway Rose is a Yoga Teacher and the Director/Founder. Colleen is a third generation yoga teacher. She teaches deep, varied posture sequences integrating and honoring the wisdom of the body, mind and breath. She works toward finding a comfortable balance in all of her classes challenging her students to move toward positive change in all aspects of their lives. With a smile, she emphasizes on the alignment principles of Hatha Yoga incorporating meditation, affirmation and intention to create an inner journey towards healing, self-awareness, acceptance and empowerment. Colleen's mantra is "It must radiate on the inside before it can radiate on the outside." Colleen is an ongoing student of The Temple of Kriya in Chicago and a certified Level 2 and Senior Yoga Teacher. Colleen travels extensively around the country studying with some of the most renowned yoga teachers in the country including , Seane Corn, Cyndee Lee and Rodney Yee. Colleen pulls strength and inspiration from the spiritual teachings of H.H. the Dalai Lama. Colleen loves is seeing new faces in the yoga studio, especially those who are trying yoga for the first time.
Tracy Caracciolo, Yoga Teacher. Tracy received her certification through the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago. In her hatha yoga classes, Tracy emphasizes breath-synchronized movement, proper body alignment, and development of self-awareness. Students are encouraged to use various props so postures can be experienced with comfort and stability leading to a deeper yoga experience. Tracy’s intentions are for her students to leave class, not only feeling balanced, but having learned something that can be carried over to other yoga classes and everyday life off the mat. Tracy resides in Frankfort with her husband, daughter, and son. She enjoys practicing yoga at home with her newly adopted beagle Chibi.
Tarie Mohan, Yoga Teacher. Tarie teaches empowering Active Yoga that challenges both the body and the mind. Tarie is certified Level 2 Yoga Teacher, certified by YogaFit Training Systems in Redondo Beach, California and is also a certified Personal Trainer. Tarie has more than 20 years fitness experience and strives to help each student meet their true potential.
Laura Grygiel, Yoga Teacher. Laura is a Certified Yoga teacher certified by YogaFit Training Systems in Redondo Beach, California. Laura's passion on the yoga mat and off is to keep in harmony while embracing the flowing rhythm of change. She believes that any unbalanced energy within us can be harmonized through the creative movement of vinyasa yoga. Through vinyasa we learn to flow with life and also work through challenges and stagnation. Laura's classes use fluid movement, concentrating on variations of Sun Salutations. Laura studies and is greatly inspired by the teachings of Shiva Rea.
Liz Hagestad, Yoga Teacher. Liz has been practicing yoga for nine years and understands the importance of it in everyday life. She is certified through Dancing Feet Yoga Center in New Buffalo, MI and registered with the Yoga Alliance. Liz strives to deliver a well-rounded yoga class to her students, including breath synchronization with each asana along with some forms of pranayama. Liz enjoys all types of yoga, but her passion lies in Vinyasa Flow Yoga, which she primarily teaches. Liz is inspired and learns the most by simply being a student of different yoga styles and being open to what one can absorb by being present.
Julia McDonald, Yoga Teacher. Julia has been practicing yoga for ten years and has personally witnessed its transformative effect. A massage therapist of five years, she is dedicated to the integration of the two practices in order to empower her clients and help them overcome chronic pain and injury. Her classes focus on subtle alignment of the bones in order for muscles to let go of unnecessary gripping. She is a lifelong student of the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago.
William Nielsen, Qigong / TaiChi Instructor. William has been practicing Tai Chi & Qigong, (Chi Kung) and teaching these beautiful arts to others for over 20 years. Although he has attained proficiency in over a half dozen styles through the years, he presently teaches primarily Tai Chi Chih & Harmony Qigong. “These days I share only the Qigong styles that brought me the most powerful results for the time and energy spent practicing.” And yet, he feels strongly that these styles can be learned by anyone regardless of age or physical condition. William was accredited to teach both forms by their originators, Master Justin Stone of Albuquerque, NM & Master Steven Ridley of Denver, CO
Kelley Zink, Yoga Teacher. Kelley has been practicing yoga 12 years. She graduated from the Hatha Yoga Teacher Training Program at the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago and continues studies through the Temple. Kelley also received certification to teach Prenatal Yoga through Global Yoga Center under the guidance of Rhonda Kantor. Her classes focus on body alignment for safety in practice, as well as breath awareness to connect body and mind.
Mary Jo Blackburn, Personal Trainer, Pilates Teacher. is a certfied Pilate's teacher with PilateFit and a Personal Trainer certified with Ace. She also holds an Advanced Personal Trainer and Sports Nutrition certifications with IFPA and a Bodybuilding and Sports Nutrition certification with Parrillo Performance. She has been in the health and fitness industry for 10 years she has two Overall Bodybuilding Titles. Mary Jo loves to help people feel good about themselves at every level of their fitness journey.
Beth Rodgers, Pilates Teacher. Beth is a NETA Trained Pilates Teacher. Her classes conform to the traditional Pilates Mat workout often incorporating enhancing elements including weights. Beth teaches this mind/body work out with precision and accuracy with keen attention to alignment. Beth enjoys studying and keeping up on the trends of the Pilates Industry and is constantly introducing new movements. Beth is also a certified teacher from St. Xavier University.
