Candlelight. Step into the surroundings of a uniquely illuminated candlelit studio with soothing tunes to guide you away from the stresses and tensions of the day. This class is open to all levels but remains physically challenging and spiritually motivating. Through posture, breath and unique relaxing techniques you'll end your practice with the yoking of mind and body, preparing you for a state of deep relaxation. Class ends with 10 full minutes of relaxation. The perfect end to a busy day.
Hatha This class consists of a series of poses, postures and positions while calming the body and the mind. It aims to increase your physical fitness through strength and flexibility as well as your ability to maintain positive thoughts and feelings. This class emphasizes body and breath awareness in accordance with proper alignment. The teacher allots time to explore and refine each pose safely.
HOT! Yoga We heat the room up to 90 degrees for a hot, power vinyasa yoga practice. Power Vinyasa Yoga is a strong, flowing yoga accessible to most individuals. No matter what your age or experience level, this yoga will take you to your edge-and pull more out of you than you ever thought possible. Power Vinyasa Yoga is personal and a way of discovering your own path, without rigid rules or goals of perfection. You’ll sweat, twist, open, lunge, reach, and balance. You will discover strength and energy you never knew existed. The physical path of yoga, is more than a workout – it is a conscious journey of discovery. Bring water and a towel to class.
Kundalini Yoga uses movement, sound current, breath and meditation to relax and heal your mind and body, allowing the spirit to flow freely bringing a greater feeling of well-being and happiness - our natural birthright as humans. By stimulating the nervous and immune systems, while improving strength and flexibility, as it centers the mind and opens the spirit. From your very first class, you'll reap the rewards including-- relief from back pain, stress, addiction, depression and insomnia, as well as weight control.
Restorative Yoga Explore deep relaxation, rejuvenation and healing by experiencing restorative yoga. In this style of yoga, each pose is held for several minutes supported by blankets, allowing the nervous system to completely quiet and return to a state of balance, while gently stretching and opening the body.
Slow Flow Slow down in your day and enjoy it. Feel the strength and fluidity of your body as you strengthen and lengthen your muscles while working on your flexibility. This class will guide you through this beautiful, relaxing, and a bit challenging practice.
Tai Chi promotes health and relaxation through a series of continuous, flowing movements. It is a moving meditation that can strengthen legs, improve coordination, body awareness, and balance, and increase circulation. Tai Chi helps reduce stress, quiet the mind and increase concentration.
Vinyasa In this practice, students flow from one posture to another, synchronizing breath and movement. Often the class begins with sun salutations, standing poses, and balancing postures, and then moves to seated forward-folds, twists, backbends and inversions. This class is aimed to bring your current practice to a whole other level or introduce you to the blessing that yoga is.
Yin Yoga. Expect to let go, unwind, and just be. Yin Yoga consists of deep slow opening floor poses designed to bring about maximum flexibility and enhanced health. Yin yoga postures are held for several minutes and can be used to unwind. Slow deep stretch postures done on the floor. An ideal compliment to your regular flow practice. Please bring a sweatshirt to wear during savasana as you may get chilly.
