pilates classes At Yoga 360 we offer Pilates equipment,
mat, and special interest classes. All classes are 50 minutes in length except
where otherwise noted. If you are new to the equipment classes, please first
attend our Beginner Series and/or private lessons. Classes are offered as Group Classes and/or Series (see pricing here). All
classes require advance sign up.
Beginner The
Beginner Series is a prerequisite for all students to our Pilates Studio and
must be completed prior to joining any other Reformer Class. Students have the
option of covering the material in private sessions as an alternative way to
prepare for classes. Students are introduced to the Principals of Alignment,
Core Body Stabilization, Operation of Reformer Equipment, and Beginning
Exercise Routines to foster a safe and energizing Pilates practice. Advanced
registration and nonrefundable payment is required for the entire series. Space

Moderate This
class welcomes the advanced beginner and the low intermediate Pilates student.
Students will add to their repertoire of exercises while picking up the pace
and finding a rhythm with the breath and movement. Continue to use the
resistance of the springs to promote overall body strength and flexibility.
This class adds more challenging fundamentals to the repertoire. This level
will bring a greater sense of body awareness through movement patterns that
recruit core muscle groups. Students can expect to learn additional single leg
work, complete abdominal exercises with both legs extended, elongate the spine
with “short spine”, challenge the arms with arms seated series, begin to jump,
fire the gluteus with “sleepers”, and include more back strengthening
movements. GROUPS CLASS AND SERIES
Intermediate This
class welcomes the solid intermediate Pilates student focusing on lengthening,
strengthening, coordination, and balance. Students can participate in exercises
incorporating props, rigorous strap work, deeper stretches like “kneeling lunge”,
challenge the whole body with “up stretch series”, complete kneeling arm work,
and learn the entire jumping repertoire. Intermediate is suitable for anyone
who has completed Moderate Level classes or series and is willing to focus on
furthering their self-awareness and technique. GROUPS CLASS AND SERIES
Cardio Jumpboard A totally
unique cardio class, where students will jump on the reformer boards, against
light and heavy springs interspersed with Pilates strength work for a great
cardio and core effect. SERIES ONLY
Fusion
ClassCan't
decide whether to take a Mat class or an equipment class? This class offers you
the best of both. Half of the session takes place on the mat using various
props, and the other takes place on the equipment. This class is a great way to
add variety to your workout while maximizing your time. SERIES ONLY
