Prerequistes: Yoga/Pilates

Yoga 360 Yoga
Although not mandatory, we recommend all students new to the practice of yoga attend our Absolute Beginner Yoga Series. This four class series is designed especially for first time yoga students. In this series you will learn the foundation of alignment, anatomy, and breathing so you can begin practicing yoga with the knowledge and skill you need to build a strong foundation and progressively increase your knowledge, strength and flexibility. This fun and educational series will visit many of the same poses each week allowing your muscles to gain the memory and for learning more about the pose. This series will give you confidence to enter any of Yoga 360's All Level or Moderate Classes.

Yoga 360 Pilates Reformer
Our 5 week Pilates Reformer Beginner Series or a Series of Private Sessions are required before entering into our Pilates Reformer Classes. In these series you will be taught Pilates basics (called Fundamentals) such as proper breath technique and body placement, and learn about and how to safely use the Reformer machine, including how to set your springs, change your footbar and attach your jumpboard.

Studio Etiquette

** Always arrive quietly to your class 10-15 minutes before class time. It is very disruptive for other students to have people arriving late.

** Quiet upon entering the Studio. Many people come to class a few minutes early to de-stress from the day and prepare for their practice. Bustling about, chatting, & loud noises disrupt this calm setting. Those who need the quite time thank you in advance.

** Yoga-360 works very hard to develop a kind, compassionate and nurturing atmosphere. Negative actions and unkind words of any kind are not tolerated at Yoga-360.

** When you arrive at the studio, be mindful that another class or spa service may be in session. Speaking in a quiet voice will assist in keeping a calm and serene environment.

** If you have to leave early, please do so quietly and save conversation with friends until you get inside the Studio Practice Space.

** Footwear is left at the door, which includes your socks. Going barefoot will give you the grip you may need for certain poses and allows you to feel more relaxed at the same time.

** Wear clothing that will make it easier to stretch your muscles. A T-shirt and a pair of shorts or sweats are perfect for giving you the room you need to move around comfortably for each posture. Wear tops that can be tucked in so that your shirt will not float over your head. If you have long hair, tie it back or it will fall in your face and obstruct your vision. Jeans are not allowed.

** Come to class clean and free of perfumes. The room can become quite warm and strong scents can be distracting to other students. If you have strong body odor, please consider the use of unscented deodorant.

** Please do not chew gum during your practice. The chewing disrupts a quiet mind, distracts others, as well as the risk of choking.

** Please turn off all pagers and cell phones. If at all possible, leave them in your car.

** Come to class with an empty stomach. Many poses affect the digestive system and having food in the stomach can result in nausea, vomiting or abdominal discomfort.

** Inform your teacher about any injuries, health problems or changes (such as pregnancy) before class begins. Modifications can be used to assist your practice safely.

** Teachers and Yoga-360 reserve the right to refuse services to any student.
