WHAT TO WEAR DURING A SPA TREATMENT

Our practitioners are trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times during your Spa treatment, so being in the buff underneath your robe is the norm. You may of course wear undergarments if that is more comfortable for you.

PRE-WAXING TIPS

What to do before your wax:
Allow 3-4 weeks between waxing and/or shaving. A quarter of an inch outgrowth is required for bikini, legs and underarms.
For Brazilian and bikini waxes, if your hair is long it is best to trim so that the waxing is more comfortable.
Female clients may have heightened sensitivity during the week prior or during menstruation.
Be careful before you wax:
Do not use Retin A/Renova up to 30 days prior.
Do not use Accutane up to 90 days prior.
Do not use peels (glycolic, AHA, etc.) or dermabrasion on the waxing area up to 24 hours prior.
Do not drink caffeine or alcohol heavily or sunbathe up to 24 hours prior.
To get the most out of your wax:
Do not exfoliate the skin for 2-3 days post wax, then exfoliate regularly to help prevent ingrown hairs.
Avoid shaving between waxes.

SPRAY TAN BEST RESULTS
For the best results, shower and exfoliate the skin beforehand. Try Yoga-360’s Season Body Scrub and wash it off thoroughly.
Wear loose fitting, dark clothing to your tanning appointment. Your session is done while you are wearing your own lingerie or swim suit. Men please either wear shorts.
Make sure your skin is free of all lotions, oils, gels or any other products (including heavy foundation if you want your face tanned) that may create a barrier.
Wait for 8 hours before bathing, sweating or rubbing your skin to allow the solution ample time to react with the proteins in your skin.
Your Oxygen Tan will last 5-7 days depending on cell turnover.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS & ALLERGIES

Please notify a Spa Coordinator when booking your appointments about physical ailments, medical conditions and allergies. This will allow us to further personalize your treatments. Special conditions may include pregnancy, high blood pressure, heart conditions, or other. Yoga-360 practitioners cannot work on clients with open wounds, abrasions, etc.

ACUPUNCTURE TIPS

Yoga-360 works very hard to develop a kind, compassionate and nurturing atmosphere. Negative actions and unkind words of any kind are not tolerated at Yoga-360.  When you arrive at the studio, be mindful that another class may be in session. Speaking in a quiet voice will assist in keeping a calm and serene environment.

PRACTICE SILENCE
Please turn off your cell phone as soon as you walk in the front door of Yoga-360. If your phone rings at anytime please turn it off immediately, this includes in the lobby area, yoga studio or bathrooms. Many people come to class a few minutes early to de-stress from the day and prepare for their practice. Bustling about, chatting, & loud noises disrupt this calm setting. Those who need the quite time thank you in advance.

BAREFOOT YOGA

Please leave your shoes outside the studio in the yoga lobby. Valuables should be left at home or may be brought into the studio where there are cubbies for storage. Yoga-360 is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

YOGA CLOTHING

Please wear comfortable workout clothing. Layers are best, as your body temperature changes throughout your practice and to allow for full range of motion and comfort.  Jeans are not allowed in the studio.

PROPS AND MORE PROPS

Yoga-360 provides blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters, eye pillows and towels in the studio. These are for our students to use, but we ask that you please help keep the space organized by returning your props to their proper home. Students are advised to bring their own mat whenever possible. Yoga mats, clothing and eye pillows are available for purchase in our retail shop.

EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM

Our interactive online reservation system allows you to reserve your space in classes and to purchase class passes and workshops.  By doing this you will be ensured a space in your desired class and will save time once you arrive in our studio! For online reservations you must have enough classes in your porfolio for booking. While we recommend this reserving online, if you are not able to get to a computer, no worries, we do leave spaces in each class open for those who prefer to drop in.  If you do not reserve online, we recommend you arrive at least 20 minutes before class is scheduled to begin to ensure a space and to buy new passes.   If you have an unlimited pass and reserve online - please help us out by canceling if you plan on NOT attending.  It’s best to arrive 10 minutes early for class so you can sign-in, find your space and avoid disrupting the class. Students late for class are often not admitted to class.

TRANSFORM YOURSELF

Yoga-360 provides a restroom/changing areas for yoga students in the retail boutique area to prepare for class. Please respect the environment for Spa guests at the other end of the building, and do not enter that area unless you are enjoying a treatment.

AN EMPTY STOMACH

Try not to eat a meal too close to your Yoga practice, as a full, heavy stomach and busy intestines will distract you from your practice.

FEMININE MOON

Do not practice any inverted asanas if you are menstruating (i.e. headstand or shoulderstand). Ask your teacher about modifications to those asanas.

MOMS-TO-BE

Yoga can be an excellent practice during pregnancy, but be sure to consult your doctor or health care provider before beginning Yoga. Please also be sure to let your Yoga teacher know of your pregnancy.

LISTEN TO YOUR BODY

If you experience pain during Yoga class, stop what you are doing and notify your instructor immediately so he or she may help you correct your posture or assume a posture appropriate for your body.
Always arrive quietly to your class 10-15 minutes before class time. It is very disruptive for other students to have people arriving late.

LEAVING EARLY

If you have to leave early, please do so quietly and save conversation with friends until you get inside the Studio Practice Space.

PERFUME AND GUM FREE
Come to class clean and free of perfumes. The room can become quite warm and strong scents can be distracting to other students. If you have strong body odor, please consider the use of unscented deodorant.  Please do not chew gum during your practice. The chewing disrupts a quiet mind, distracts others, as well as the risk of choking.

Teachers and Yoga-360 reserve the right to refuse services to any student.
